What does the 15-year warranty cover?
A 15-year replacement warranty on the lightning arrester itself. Earthing and surge devices carry their own manufacturer terms, which we put in writing with the quotation.
Do I still need a surge protector if I have a lightning arrester?
Yes. The rooftop arrester handles the direct strike; the surge protector in your distribution board handles the voltage spike that a nearby strike pushes through the wiring. Every package includes both.
